Find exercise demonstrations by name or alias (e.g. RDL), equipment, category, or muscle. Pass a concise exercise name, not the whole user message. Results distinguish bodyweight and weighted variations. If equipment is unspecified, show matching variations or ask which one. Empty results mean no catalog match; do not invent a demo. Not for diagnosis or personalized injury rehabilitation.

Get a catalog exercise by its exact slug from search_exercises, including reviewed equipment, a 15-second Mux video segment and up to five newest confirmed workout appearances. The full_video_url opens the complete workout on YouTube; there is no separate YouTube demo. Use stored start_seconds directly: the four-second lead-in adjustment is already applied. Do not claim clinical or technique certification. If video_status is unavailable, offer the exercise page without inventing a video.
