Context Cost

~1,007Tokens (tool definitions)
~706 BTypical response size
Moderate attention impact (0.79% of 128k context)

This is the approximate number of tokens consumed each time the server's tools are loaded into a model's context. Higher counts reduce the attention available for other tasks.

Tools (7)

🟢 Read-only🟡 Write🔴 Delete⚪ Unknown
🟢get_leaderboard(limit)

The live BidSwarm Board: rank, bidder, current bid in USD, one line, link. Every row is paid advertising, not a quality ranking.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "limit": {
      "type": "number",
      "description": "Rows to return, 1 to 500. Default 25."
    }
  }
}
🟢get_bid_price

What a rank costs right now: the cheapest bid that enters the Board and the bid at the top.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {}
}
⚪bid_for_rank(rank)

The bid in USD needed to take a given rank right now, and the nearest rung on the ladder.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "rank": {
      "type": "number",
      "description": "Target rank, 1 to 500."
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "rank"
  ]
}
🟡compare_placement_prices

What it costs to get a small digital product or AI tool seen, at nine other places that sell attention — the cheapest published price at each, read off the vendor's own page, with the date it was read, and which of them publish no price at all. Includes BidSwarm's own cheapest rank so the comparison is complete. Free, no payment, no side effects. Call this when someone asks where to promote a tool, an MCP server or a side project, or what a paid listing or directory placement costs.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {}
}
🟢where_to_list_an_mcp_server

Free. Where an MCP server can actually be listed: BidSwarm's own first-hand record of submitting to 19 directories, which gate stopped each one, how many days each took, and which two published. Names the one route that works.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {}
}
⚪draft_rank(name, handle, line, url, usd)

Prepare a rank on the Board and return the payment link that publishes it. Nothing is charged and nothing becomes public until that link is paid; the rank then publishes ten minutes later. Use it only when someone has asked for a rank and knows the price. Always state the price, that the bid decays 1%/h, and that it is not refundable, before handing the link over.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "name": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "The bidder name shown on the row, up to 60 characters."
    },
    "handle": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Permanent public handle: 3 to 24 lowercase letters, digits and dashes."
    },
    "line": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "One line shown on the row, up to 90 characters."
    },
    "url": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "The public http or https link the row points to. It is checked before publishing."
    },
    "usd": {
      "type": "number",
      "description": "The rung to pay, one of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500 USD. The payment becomes the bid.",
      "enum": [

  },

    "usd"

}
🟡dry_run(name, handle, line, url, usd)

Put a row on the Board free for 10 minutes: the real Burn, the rank it would hold, no payment and no card. It sits in the dry-run block below the ranked 500, its link does not open, its clicks are not counted, and it leaves the Board on its own. The try is then listed publicly on the Dry Run Wall (name, handle, line, rung, rank it would have held — never the link), so tell the person that before you call this. Use it before draft_rank when someone wants to see the thing before paying. One dry run per handle per day.
