Minimal attention impact (0.41% of 128k context)

This is the approximate number of tokens consumed each time the server's tools are loaded into a model's context. Higher counts reduce the attention available for other tasks.

🟡grade_cross_reference(grade, brand)

Cross-reference a carbide insert grade across manufacturers. Given any maker's grade (e.g. GC4325, KC5010, IC807), returns its ISO 513 application position(s) and the grades other manufacturers publish at the same position, each row carrying its verification status (multi-source consensus / confirmed by 2+ manufacturer charts / single-source chart). Comparable-at-ISO-position is a trial starting point, not an interchangeability guarantee.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "grade": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "The grade code to cross-reference, e.g. \"GC4325\" or \"KC5010\""
    },
    "brand": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Optional: the grade's manufacturer, to disambiguate codes used by several makers"
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "grade"
  ]
}
⚪material_cross_reference(designation)

Cross-reference a workpiece material designation across standards (EN, Werkstoffnummer, AISI/ASTM/UNS, JIS) from a curated 77-material set, e.g. "1.4404" -> AISI 316L / X2CrNiMo17-12-2 / SUS316L. Each match includes the ISO 513 machining group, a machining note, and whether the pairing is a same-composition equivalent or a nearest commonly-cited counterpart. Always verify against the material certificate.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "designation": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Any designation: EN name (42CrMo4), Werkstoffnummer (1.7225), AISI/UNS (4140, G41400), JIS (SCM440), or a common name (316L, Inconel 718)"
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "designation"
  ]
}
⚪speeds_feeds_starting_values(iso_group)

Starting cutting-speed and feed ranges for coated-carbide TURNING by ISO 513 material group (P steel, M stainless, K cast iron, N aluminium, S_TI titanium, S_NI nickel superalloy, H hardened steel). These are deliberately wide practice ranges, not from any one catalog; the maker's data for the exact grade always wins.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "iso_group": {
      "type": "string",
      "enum": [
        "P",

        "S_TI",
        "S_NI",
        "H"
      ],
      "description": "ISO 513 group. Use S_TI for titanium, S_NI for nickel superalloys."
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "iso_group"
  ]
}
