Context Cost
This is the approximate number of tokens consumed each time the server's tools are loaded into a model's context. Higher counts reduce the attention available for other tasks.

🟢resolve-library-id(libraryName, query)
Resolve a package or product name to a Docsy library ID. Call before query-docs unless an exact /org/project or /org/project/version ID is already known. The query is used only to rank likely libraries; do not include credentials, PII, proprietary code, or other confidential data.
Input Schema
{
"type": "object",
"properties": {
"libraryName": {
"type": "string",
"minLength": 1,
"maxLength": 200,
"description": "Official library, framework, SDK, API, CLI, or product name to resolve."
},
"query": {
"type": "string",
"minLength": 1,
"maxLength": 2000,
"description": "What documentation you need so Docsy can rank matching libraries. Keep it focused and never include secrets, credentials, PII, proprietary code, or confidential data."
}
},
"required": [
"libraryName",
"query"
],
"$schema": "https://json-schema.org/draft/2020-12/schema"
}🟢query-docs(libraryId, query, limit)
Retrieve current, version-aware documentation and code examples from one Docsy library. Resolve the library ID first unless an exact ID is already known. Keep each query to one concept and do not call this tool more than 3 times for one user question.
Input Schema
{
"type": "object",
"properties": {
"libraryId": {
"type": "string",
"minLength": 3,
"maxLength": 500,
"description": "Exact Docsy library ID such as /org/project or /org/project/version."
},
"query": {
"type": "string",
"minLength": 2,
"maxLength": 4000,
"description": "Specific documentation concept to retrieve. Use one topic per query and never include secrets, credentials, PII, proprietary code, or confidential data."
},
"limit": {
"description": "Maximum number of documentation chunks to return; omit to use the production default.",
"type": "integer",
"minimum": 1,
"maximum": 15
}
},
"required": [
"libraryId",
"query"
