🟢check_vat_mtd_thresholds(annual_turnover_gbp, property_income_gbp, is_vat_registered, qualifying_income_2024_25_gbp, qualifying_income_2025_26_gbp, ...)
Free estimate for UK sole traders. Checks annual turnover against the VAT registration threshold (flags "near" within 10%), explains the rolling 12-month and 30-day forward-look rules, and says whether and from when Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applies. Give the optional qualifying income for each tax year for a definite answer; with only turnover it gives an estimate.

}🟢categorise_expenses(expenses)
Free estimate for UK sole traders. Maps each expense to an HMRC Self Assessment self-employment (SA103F) expense category using simple keyword rules (no AI), with a confidence level, and flags items that are usually not allowable or need care (entertaining, everyday clothing, fines, private use, depreciation, capital items, mixed-use phone/car/home).
