Find local businesses that take bookings: salons, massage, doctors, trainers, yoga classes, courts, scooter/car/boat rental, home services, tours. Filter by text, city/country or coordinates and category. Awning does not guess where the user is from the request — it comes from your servers — so pass their city or near coordinates when you know them. Returns cards with business_id, offerings and page_url. A card with demo: true is a sample listing, not a real place: say so if you mention it and offer real places first.

Called with nothing, returns an upload widget where supported and upload_url as a fallback. The response lists the photos the page has now in current, with photo_id for owner_remove_photos. Use the owner's own photos of the actual place first. If they have none or want more, offer to generate illustrations with your own image tools using photo_prompts from owner_setup or owner_photos: they follow Awning's house style so the page matches the rest of the site. Let the owner approve every picture before importing it, and pass ai_generated: true for generated ones — the page then presents them as illustrations, never as the real premises. Explain any cost or plan limit of the assistant's image tools before using them; Awning does not generate or bill for images. Import only downloadable image URLs or supported attachment links; never invent a URL or send a local file path. If attachments cannot be transferred, return the upload link. Mark photos_done only after successful uploads and the owner says they are finished; resolve failed uploads first.

Only for the Awning team. approve publishes the business; reject needs a note the owner will see. To approve an application of any route but rename, pass expected_name: the business's name exactly as op_applications showed it to you (business.name). The owner can change the name while the application waits, so approving is refused when the business is called something else now: list the applications again, check the name, then decide. For route rename, approve gives the business the new name from the request and changes nothing else (no expected_name needed), and reject keeps the current name. recall applies to an approved application with route auto_branch — a new location that went live without review: it leaves the catalogue and returns to the queue as a new application.
