🟢decode_ingredient_label(ingredients, product_type)
Estimate what's really in a lotion, cream, balm or serum from its printed ingredient list (INCI). Finds the likely '1% line' (ingredients above it must be listed by amount under US FDA 21 CFR 701.3 and EU rules), gives a rough percentage range for each ingredient above the line, says what each ingredient does, and adds neutral notes on ingredients people with sensitive or eczema-prone skin often avoid (fragrance, essential oils, some preservatives). Estimates come from label order and typical use levels; they are not lab measurements. Same engine as https://corium21.com/pages/ingredient-label-decoder.

Say what a single cosmetic ingredient does in a moisturizer (humectant, emollient, occlusive, preservative and so on), its typical use level, common alternative names, and any notes for sensitive skin. Covers 233 common moisturizer ingredients by INCI or common name, and makes a labeled best guess from the name for anything else.

7-day dry skin outlook for a US ZIP code or US latitude/longitude. Estimates how dry indoor air will get once the heat is on (outdoor dew point heated to 70°F), rates each day Low, Moderate, High or Very high, and gives a simple skin-care tip for each level.
