Contact / corrections and removals
Reach a person.
Corrections, removal requests, and questions about the index are all welcome, and a request from a maintainer is acted on.
Best for anything you would rather not post publicly: a removal request, a correction to a record about your software, or a question about what is stored about you.
Public issue tracker
The fastest route for anything about the index itself — a record that is wrong, a server that should be added, a bug in the site or the runner, or a question other people would also want answered.
Asking for a correction or a removal
Include the record’s address, in the form /servers/namespace/name, or the canonical name it is registered under. Say what is wrong, or that you want it removed. That is usually enough.
If you are asking on behalf of a server rather than for yourself, send from an address associated with the repository, or open the issue from the account that owns it. It is not a formality — it is the only way to tell a maintainer’s request from anyone else’s.
What not to send here
Security reports about someone else’s server do not belong on this site. This index cannot fix third-party software and does not broker disclosure; those reports go to the maintainer, or to the registry or package host that distributes it.
About the records themselves
What a status means, what was measured to produce it, and the limits of that measurement are set out in the verification method. What this site stores about visitors is in the privacy notice.
