Terms / conditions of use
The terms this index is offered under.
Short, and meant to be read. Using this site means accepting them.
01. The service
MCP Measure is provided as it is. It may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued without notice, and no particular record is promised to remain available. There is no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
02. A record is one observation
A result describes one package version, at one time, under the fixed limits set out in the verification method. It is not a security assessment, not a prediction of how the software will behave later, and not an endorsement of it. Software changes after it is observed, and a record that was accurate when written can be out of date by the time you read it.
An absent failure is not evidence of safety. A server with no recorded problem has simply not had one recorded here.
03. Software belongs to its authors
Names, packages, repositories, and links describe third-party software and remain the property of the people who made it. Being listed here creates no relationship between this site and any author, and implies no sponsorship, approval, or affiliation in either direction. Your licence to use any server comes from its authors, not from this site.
04. Using the site
Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, and use the public API. Do not attempt to take it down, scrape it hard enough to degrade it for others, use the submission form to send anything other than a genuine suggestion, or present a record here as a security clearance it is not.
05. Submissions
By sending a submission you confirm you are entitled to send what you send. A submission is a suggestion: there is no obligation to publish it, and it may be edited, declined, or removed later. Do not send confidential information.
06. Removal
Maintainers can ask to have a record corrected or removed, and the request will be honoured. Contact explains where to send it and what to include.
07. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, this site and the people who run it accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the index or from reliance on anything recorded in it. Decide what to install yourself, on evidence you have weighed.
08. Changes
These terms may be revised. The current version is the one on this page.
