Tools (4)

🟢 Read-only🟡 Write🔴 Delete⚪ Unknown
🟡screen_audio(url, filename)

Submit a publicly reachable audio or video URL for copyright screening. Returns immediately with a report_id and QUEUED status — call get_screening to poll for the result. Costs credits from the account that owns the API key (1 credit per sampled window). Run this BEFORE publishing generated content.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "url": {
      "type": "string",
      "format": "uri",
      "description": "Publicly reachable https URL of the audio or video file"
    },
    "filename": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Original filename, used to determine the format (e.g. track.mp3)"
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "url"
  ],
  "additionalProperties": false,
  "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#"
}
🟢get_screening(uuid)

Fetch the status and result of one screening. When status is COMPLETED, returns every window where a commercial recording was detected, with timestamps and the matched title/artist, plus a plain-language verdict on whether the file is safe to publish.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "uuid": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "The screening uuid (or report_id without the MC- prefix)"
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "uuid"
  ],
  "additionalProperties": false,
  "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#"
}
🟢list_screenings(limit)

List the most recent screenings on the account that owns the API key, with their results and the remaining credit balance.

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "limit": {
      "type": "integer",
      "minimum": 1,
      "maximum": 50,
      "description": "How many to return (default 10)"
    }
  },
  "additionalProperties": false,
  "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#"
}
🟢verify_report(report_id)

Check that a MusicCheck report id refers to a real screening, and see what it concluded. Needs no API key — anyone can verify a report someone else shows them. Use this to check a claim of "already cleared".

Input Schema

{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "report_id": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Report id, e.g. MC-2e07410f-a8dd-44a1-9472-03138c9f4036"
    }
  },
  "required": [
    "report_id"
  ],
  "additionalProperties": false,
  "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#"
}
