Context Cost

~566Tokens (tool definitions)
~1.5 KBTypical response size
Minimal attention impact (0.44% of 128k context)

This is the approximate number of tokens consumed each time the server's tools are loaded into a model's context. Higher counts reduce the attention available for other tasks.

🟢 Read-only🟡 Write🔴 Delete⚪ Unknown
🟢dataset_licence(id, live)

Retrieve licence facts for one Hugging Face dataset: declared licence, where it was declared, recorded source datasets, detected licence files and a signal. Each licence value comes with an evidence URL linking to the Hub file, API record, file list or Hub page that was checked, with a commit-specific link where available. For datasets in the daily build, facts come from the build by default. Other public datasets are checked live on the Hugging Face Hub. Signal values: permissive = permissive or share-alike licence reported; restrictive = use restrictions reported; conflict = possible licence conflict; unclear = insufficient or unrecognised licence information. These signals do not establish permission to use a dataset. Licence facts reported by the dataset and its declared sources. Not legal advice, and not a grant of permission to use the dataset.

🟢find_datasets(signal, task, licence, limit)

Search the 5,000 most downloaded Hugging Face datasets in the daily build, returning matches in descending order of download count. Optionally filter by signal, task tag and declared licence ID; all supplied filters must match. Returns up to 50 results; licence_evidence links to the Hub file, API record or file list checked for a declared licence.
